Everything last night was superb. I think you may have some new customers visiting. Across the board everyone enjoyed the appetizers, and of course I highly recommended everything on menu. The young lady who served us went above and beyond and had a really wonderful disposition.

Thank you and your staff. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful, pleasant evening.  My parents and I spent 25 minutes looking for a taxi cab and so arrived pretty late, and your staff just took it in stride and was so understanding.  The food was tremendous, the service was superb and I got nothing but rave reviews from my family.  My father, too, loved the mole negro.  Overall, a perfect evening.  My mom even cried when we walked outside! Again, thank you for helping us to create such a wonderful evening and a special memory for everyone involved.

I’m the captain of Latinos Doing Something With Themselves…we’ve been invading your west village location most of this year about every week or two. Everyone is so friendly and competent, I just want to congratulate you and thank your staff. The food is also consistently great. We love having our regular meetings there, and have NO intention of looking elsewhere for our 2007 meetings.

I sincerely appreciate the time you took to educate me about tequilas, margaritas and micheladas.  The enthusiasm and passion for the service you provide is impressive.  Food and spirits are truly a form of art. I really enjoyed your margarita with a splash of mezcal (I am still trying to find a bottle - real smoky aromas).

I am here in Los Angeles and I am about 6 months pregnant now from the last time I chatted with one of your managers. I cant help ask if you can Freeze one of your Enchilada Dinners like the green sauce ones and Fed Ex it to me. I swear I will pay you for your troubles and shipping and boxing etc etc. I am so craving this it is NOT even funny anymore I am DREAMING OF YOUR FOOD!! at night, and that’s pretty sad. Can you help me out??? I know you take credit cards I think I already memorized your menu from looking at it daily and wishing I had you guys nearby. I will pay you over the phone with ANY credit card as Long as I GET MY DINNER!!!!!!! Please…and please don’t think im a looney for begging, but I'm craving this so so so bad. I wanted to thank you and Margarite for doing such an amazing job. The food was wonderful and I felt like I could really count on you during the entire time--planning and the event--which really meant a lot.

Yesterday while in the West Village, my partner and I decided to stop by for some happy hour drinks.  Little did we know that we would immediately fall in love with your restaurant. We sampled 4 of the "happy hour" appetizers along with some wonderful tamarind  and mango margaritas.

The bachelorette party was a lot fun and dinner was the perfect way to start off the night! Everybody had a great time, and the family style food and open bar set-up was perfect.

There are few people that I would take time out of my insane day to write such a letter for, but Barbara and Margaritte are in that category. They are, aside from being genuinely nice and good people, absolutely consummate professionals. They have done many events for us – from small receptions of 75 people; to huge parties for 400 people. Everything is always done to perfection; their cooking, preparation, service and professional manner cannot be matched. They are flexible, regarding menus, and always generous in the amount of food and drink provided. After every party, we are always being complimented on how wonderful the food was. We had a GREAT time at La Palapa last night.  Food was amazing, and the drinks were even more amazing!  I think we closed out the place; hope your staff was not sick of us!

I cannot express to you my deep thanks for all you have done for us. It was a FABULOUS event – and everyone is raving about it.  HUGE success, and many many compliments on the food. I have to also thank you for really taking over so much of the responsibility of the arrangements. It just made my job a little bit simpler. And that is greatly appreciated!

I just want to thank you again for helping me make my friend's birthday a success even though I could not make it there last night. She sent me three text messages while at dinner . . . not to make me jealous (I already had that covered!) but to thank me.
